We had a brilliant show in New Orleans, great audience.
Also, the staff at the House of Blues were excellent at looking after the band. We give big thanks to Jenny who took care of our dressing room all night, and Lea who magically mad the Tequila appear...and also extra beer.
Pato Banton and his band were brilliant, especially the drummer Tony.
Fantastic player, we hung out after for a while and we will catch up in Kansas City when the band plays. All the bands were great this show, the guys are starting to all mix, which is the way it should be.
After the show we went to a bar where I had a little accident with a table. Due to tiredness I did my usual thing of falling asleep at the bar. I fell of the stool and managed to hit the table with my head on the left side and then the floor with my right side. Minor bleeding. I heard Richie shout to someone, "call him an ambulance!", the band then all shouted "Stef you are an ambulance". I am fine. They are heading to the thrift store later to buy me a crash helmet, just in case we go out tonight.
Just about to soundcheck the drums.......
