We are here, after a night out on the piss, recovering in bed. We are heading out to breakfast, the connection is bad at the moment, will write more from the venue. We get together at 2pm for rehearsal.
Thanks boys for the show that we got to see partially at the Knitting Factory tonight. Shame it wasnt the full gas as it was a blast! Hope to see you at a more proper venue out here in LALA land sometime in the near future. 2Tone forever!
So disappointed that the gig tonight had to descend into the ugly mess it became. You were great up until they shut it down. All it takes is a few idiots to ruin a night out. I'm sure Buster has seen more than a few such nights in all his years of playing, but I'm sure he is bummed nevertheless. You tried to quell the stupid and pointless violence, but to no avail. I believe the venue was correct in stopping the show, but I take issue with how the security staff handled matters. They should have done their job and gotten rid of the half dozen jerks that were causing the trouble and we could have continued with the show. I already vented my anger to the management at The Knitting Factory so I will say no more. A Bad Manners show is supposed to be about dancing and having fun and I look forward to the next time that will happen in Los Angeles.
Big fan for 27 years now (Damn, that make me feel old!) and will be for as long as I'm on the planet. Keep on keeping on!
Love and dancing.

Had a great time at the show Steve, it was nice meeting you. It was uunfortunate the evening had to end so early, due to the assholes who didn't belong there. My boyfriend and I are old timers ourselves and we just wanted to dance and be merry.
We happend to be the victims in the first scuffle that evening. Two guys came up to my boyfriend and said they saw him punch a girl and he told them they're full of shit! These two lame asses began to push and shove him. One threw a sucker punch and the other grabbed his neck. I jumped on the smaller one pulling his grasp from my boyfriend's neck and entangling my legs within his to trip him up, my man did NOT go down at all, he had to defend himself by punching the bigger guy in the face (sorry about the bloody mouth, hope you still have some teeth left fool!)
We were then nicely escorted out of the building by security... however it would have been nicer if they could have stepped in earlier. Once we were outside, we saw security pulling these same assholes out of the bulding, where their two bitches, who probably instigated the fight in the first place, continued to brawl on each other.
What's the moral of this story.. hmm? I hope I speak for the older crowd at the show, we just want to dance and listen to the music we've loved for years and continue to love for many more years to come. It's a shame they couldn't appreciate it the way we can :(
See you in Kansas City Steve!
Amy, please get your story straight. I was right next to it, your BF did hit some chick and her BF kicked his ass. No it was not gang rival shit, L.A. is actually calm city. Don't like it, then get out. You don't want to start making shit up in L.A., your BF should have learned that, that night. I was also disappointed, but what the hell...it was funny. Good luck fellas, City Of Angels!
