Davey's Tombstone Blues
I love Davey's Uptown. Thanks to all who showed up last night. There were so many friends and faces in the crowd. There are some photos loaded; again The North Johnson County Allstars defied logic and had a great time. Davey's is somewhat of a tradition, I have been playing there since 96, with bands like Daysleeper. We used to pull great crowds in those days too.
Last night was reminiscent, 10+ older, none the wiser coupla pints of Boddingtons and we were away. Now we all pretty much have kids and a lot more responsibility. I saw many great friends, The Stills, Prof Blundell, Mike Kelly of Let it Reign, all the Corinth and Cure' Mums and Dads, The Weasels, thanks to everyone who turned out. I have Basketball practice in two hours...I wonder which parent from last night will show up at 8am....looks like it's me from the DiFranco house.
Also the Bear Fighters were brilliant if you caught them, they reminded me of George Formby and his Uke.
